Well do you have an automatic or a manual trans? I know the 2.4 can be tuned, if your looking for some more power. Tuning an automatic can be especially fruitfull because you can adjust shift points, times, and over all line pressure. Not to mention engine timing and fuel delivery. Could also try suspention mods to help the car hook up.
