Yes. A technician can go into the ECM and disable the SAI. Whether you can find a dealer that would do it is another story.

The CAI hose into the filter air box is just the way GM set it up to get filtered air into the pump. If you install a small filter into the hose then you take care of the problem. If you Run it without a filter you risk getting dirt or sand into the pump and damaging it -- probably won't get repaired under warranty in that case.
