In rain i haven't had any trouble with them, I don't know your snow situation, but i'm in southwest Pa. and i've never had a bit of trouble with sliding when i wasn't trying to, and my car doesn't have anti-lock brakes. So that should make more traction issues, but they've held up fairly well.
