The new motto in America is: Ask not what you can do for your Country, Vote for what you can get out of your Country -- someone else will pay!
While I agree with you for the most part I do disagree some. As far as medicine and medical care is concerned we do need a way to help those who can't afford it to pay for it. We also need to completely blow the system up and start over. Medical costs in this country are out of control and it's because lobbiest for the insurance companies and pharmacusticals have paid of everyone and their mom. Even the so called champions of health care (Hillary Clinton). Our system is sad and to think a great and powerful nation like America has such a sham of a system to care for it's people is outrageous. With that said, I'm not for free handouts of medical care to everyone, but clearly we have to take care of the less fortunate.

Also I'd have to say anyone who doesn't think there is something wrong with the system have never been poor or without insurance. Also you don't have to be poor to not afford medical insurance. I'd bet that if 99% of the people who have their employer pay for their insurance didn't get that luxury they'd want this ****ed up system changed too. You wanna know how much I have to pay for health insurance? It's double of what my house payment is and I am a healthy non smoking 26 year old. That's ****ed up especially considering I've been to the doctor once in six years.

This isn't about our ****ed up health care system though it's about the ****ed up illegal war our President waged. Did you know the cost of 10 minutes of the war in Iraq would fund the entire education system of Illinois for a week? Yet the Republican party is the party of fiscal responsibility.

Still though it's not about that. What it's about is our President and VP waging a war not for our freedom but for their own profit and the profit of their cohorts. Do you honestly think we are safer now then we were 5 years ago? Over 4000 of our best and brightest are dead for what? All we have done is drive the economy in the dirt, nearly break this country, and enrage an entire race and religion of people. Meanwhile people like Admin justify us holding people without the right to a lawyer and torturing them because some of them beheaded our troops? I thought America was better then that. We were the country that didn't that, when we fought we just kicked your ass, we didn't rape, pillage, and torture. Why are we suddenly below that and above the law of the Geneva convention? Which by the way has been around alot longer then this war.

However I'm not for executing our President, just get him out of office. He's a stubborn old mule that believe divinity has given him the right to do what he wants with no bounds of the law. Get him out before he goes into Iran and gets us in a real war with a real army against us, all the while our army is stretched thinner. Our President is dangerous and honestly he's a terrorist himself along with Cheany and Guliani. Listen to them talk "if we don't fight them there, we will be fighting them here." bull shit!If we'd put some real effort into homeland security we wouldn't have to worry about it. Then their is the systematic stripping of all of our rights. Our constitution has been ripped to shreds and it's going to get worse until Bush is gone.
