I had an aluminum pulley on the crankshaft of my Stealth :(

It lasted about 3,000 miles. The belt was wearing the pulley away. The belt was embedded with alum dust and would slip at WOT. (pulley = $195.00 / new belt = $83.00)

If the manufacturer would have used 7xxx series of heat treatable alum the pulley would be on the car today. (all in the formula)

I do not think the "wear factor" on these SC pulleys will have the same result as above.

One simple question will tell the tale - can you turn the SC by hand? If yes the aluminum pulleys will be just fine.
