When i worked at a chevy dealer ship for a few years we would always have mac tools and snap on come in weekly mac tools offer's a 2.2l filter socket, it works nice (obviously), gets plenty of clearance between the intake and the top of the filter.

There are a couple different generations on the DIC (Drivers Information Center) some models you can cycle through the display until the oil life apears and hit the gas three times within 5 seconds and the oil life will reset to 100% New gen scroll through to oil life and press and hold the return arrow button until it resets.
