Sony xplod subs litterely explode lol,one buddy of mine had that problem and they blew out,I had one brand called fusion and my brother was adjusting the eq to the right setting and the amp blew out,so I rather stick with pioneer or infinity.

HAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAHAHAHHAHA!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I FINALLY fixed my speakers, what a pain in the ass it all was.
List of problems:
1. switched positive and negative when tapping from a wire.
2. Major amp tweaking to try and work around bad acoustics
3. wasnt properly secure and even though that really isnt a major problem, it sure as hell helped it sound better.
4. i re-sealed the bax and made it the best box in the world, aka, no air leaks anywhere, a can-full of sealant can attest to that.
5. it sounded like crap beacuse the high imput sucks, and i didnt know that untill hardcore reasearch, and then i had to put the RCA adapter in
6. wired the RCA wierdly or somhow a wire got switched so i almost thought i blew a speaker because it was distorting and sounding like crap while the other one was amazingly good.
7. Finally figured out which wire was wrong and then had to further tweak to finally get a good massive thump.

damn it.... so much can go wrong on speakers, and i wasnt 300% sure what i was doing so it took so long to figure out.
finally good though.
