I wish I had 10000 watts. It's just a name. You can daisy-chain two amps together to create 10000 watts max according to Earthquake. They are really about 3000 watts RMS each. It isn't really loud yet, but it will be soon. Also, I don't listen to it, it's just a hobby. I love my hearing! ;)

I hear ya man. That's why I ran the bass control knob for mine so I can leave it turned down for normal driving but crank on it for shows

Stock stereo with the addition of what's in my sig. I won't do an audio setup in this car for quite some time. I want to work on a lot of other things first.

In my previous car (99 Saturn SC1) I had an Alpine head unit and Alpine MRD-M500 running a JL 12W6v2 and a 2 channel Kenwood running a pair of 6.75" coax RF's in the front. No speakers in the rear.

My future plans included an in-dash dvd/navi unit, but I'm going to see if I can just find a nice DD CD head unit. Probably something like this:Pioneer FH-P8000BT and a nice set of Boston Acoustics speakers for front and rear. Maybe a 4 ch. amp for the speakers, but not sure, don't want to clutter up the trunk with stuff, that's why I chose the compact MTX X Thunderlink for my sub. I wanted extra bass, but not too much and nothing that takes up half the trunk.

With a family, it's essential for me to have trunk space (stroller or whatever else).

I'm running what my sig says. Pioneer head unit, 2 12" Kicker CVRs, a 1 farat cap, 1000 watt Kenwood amp, and a 12v brushless fan to keep everything cool. All accept the head unit (obviously) is in a custom molded fiberglass enclosure. Everything in the trnk is lit up by hidden blue neons that are wired to come on when the trunk opens up. Dynamat is everywhere, and over the dynamat is black leather with a blue chevy bowtie (also in leather) on the spare tire compartment. I did all the work myself with the help and support of Sound Solutions in Gulfport, MS.

Give me about a month to get back stateside and pics will be posted in the vBGarage.

Head unit: Kenwood DDX 7019
This head unit has ipod direct connect, dvd player, navigation,
and many of extras including built in crossover and many other
audio settings. I love this head unit.

Speakers in doors: Hertz ECX 165 (front doors)
Hertz ECX 690 (rear deck)
Both of these are coaxials and the 165's are 6.5s and the 690's
are 6 x 9's. They sound great.

So far, this is all I have done. In the future, I plan on replacing the alpine type E's (three 10's) that i had in my old car with three 10s from Image Dynamics. I plan to power these with a JL Audio 500/1 mono amp which I already have. I will update with picks when this happens.

Head Unit: Kenwood DDX 7019
This head unit has it all. It includes ipod direct connect, dvd
player, navigational unit, and of course cd and hd radio. It also
plenty of audio settings built in including crossover and many
other controls. I love it.

Speakers: Hertz High Energy ECX 165 (Front Pair in the doors)
Hertz High Energy ECX 690 (Rear Pair in rear deck)
These speakers sound amazing. The 165's are 6.5's and the
690's are 6 x 9's.

This is what I used to have in my old car (97 Pontiac Sunfire).
I plan to use the amp (JL Audio 500/1 mono) and I plan on
replacing the alpine 10's (Type E) with three Image Dynamics
10's (ID Max). Once this is done, I will update with pics.

Any comments welcomed.
