Kicker Comp 07C104 10" 4-ohm subwoofer at Crutchfield.com
thats a link to the subs i think im gonna get. any suggestions on what type of amp to run them. i was thinking this alpine amp Alpine MRP-F300 V-Power Series 4-channel car amplifier 50 watts RMS x 4 at Crutchfield.com would this one work good with those subs? |

I would suggest this amp over the 4 channel that you have there. It will give you more power and it should sound better, just run the subs in series. Just make sure you wire the amp for 4 ohm instead of 2, this will give you the right amount of power. |

I had an Alpine 300w 2 channel amp and 2 10" Comp. Kickers and they were excellent. This was in my 2000 Mustang. They pounded and sounded great. I sold the set and to this day the guy that purchased them has them in his car and they are still going. If you set it up right and don't abuse them you are good for many years. IMO - Kicker is an excellent top choice for subs.
