amp suggestions

Hey everyone,

I have 2 10" Alpine type R's currently but no amp. What are some good suggestions? i'm looking at the Alpine V Power 800watt mono and Clarion 850watt mono. I'm also looking at a Rockford Fosgate 975mono?? watt amp.

Any suggestions would help.

Greg

Could never go wrong with a rocksford. If it was between those 3 i would say get the rocksford. And from what i hear rocksfords amps are underated. They say they rms at like 1000 it will be much higher, which is a good thing, but also could end up having you blow your sub.

Depends on how many watts the subs are. Normally it's best to pick an amp that is between your rms and max. And it's a lot harder to blow your subs by overpowering them than underpowering them. I'd say the Rockford Fosgate too.
