amp bypass needed?
ive im installing an aftermarket amp w/ an aftermarket amp do i need to bypass my stock amp as stated here or? ive looked under my steering console, but i didn't see the amp at all

If you have just the basic 4 speaker system then no you do not need to do an amp bypass

Yes. I'm an MECP certified installer, work as an installer, and have installed an aftermarket system in my 07 LS. The basic 4 speaker setup that you have (which is the same one that I had) is not an amplified system.
