If you have an 05 or 06 Cobalt you can get the Corvette shorty antenna -- 6 MM thread. Go to mid America motorworks (Corvette parts) and order their black ($19) shorty antenna...PN 612-431...fits right and looks good too.

I don't live around many radio stations, but with the Corvette shorty antenna on my 06 LS I had no problems getting any of the radio stations I normally listen to...and when I drove it from FL to IL I didn't have any reception problems -- seemed normal to me.

I MAY have a BRAND NEW ARK antenna at Christmas. I don't know if the "recipient" is gonna like it. Will sell at my cost and free ship.....Fits 07-09 (7MM).

i only payed 217 shipped for my 7" double din unit. check out my car domain page. i'm going to get the autoloc motorized antenna i believe eventually.
