How do I program a new keyless entry fob for an 05 Cobalt?

My wife had her keys stolen. She only had one keyless entry fob and now she has none.

I purchased a new fob from eBay and was curious as to the program instructions once it gets here. Anyone have a clue?

Well I took a shortcut and called my local dealer. The guy there is my age and a real cool guy so I wasn't at all afraid to ask him if I could do it myself without having to pay them to do it. He said that there is not a way, that I would have to bring the new fob and car by and they would do it for $45!

I am going to keep this open in case someone still knows a back door of some sort.
