I think you mean the only problem is "they" will have to be able to go under 9 seconds on the drag strip:p

Are you meaning in your car???

I like going side ways but to do it properly means too many chances of smacking into something and I am not too keen on that.

i am practicing in a car i dont care about, so when i get in the balt, i should only need to worry about the minor touch-ups light bumps with other cars cause

I think its more of a challenge to drift in a FWD, RWD Drifting is pretty easy. I had a 240sx that would do it under normal driving, and it had good rubber, When I floored it, I would easily go sideways and generate lots of smoke. It was fun as hell. Till it got wrecked in the rain.

thus why more than half my drift squad has either 240sx, skylines, or some other rear wheel drive car. One guy is planning on drifting a 2004 mustang, lol. And one other guy in our drift squad is known for drifting his dually truck! i havent seen it first hand, but i will this season, lol

dude, i've been wanting to do this since i got my cobalt! i have 2 big questions for ya, 1: how much is all this costing you? and 2: how much labor is going into it?

Now that I got that out of the way, the cost can be reduced significantly if your desire is simply just having rwd with a modest power boost.
Because I have gone all out everything had to be changed.
What would your goals be??

well i plan on getting upwards of about 300-350whp. all i want is that RWD. i'm not wanting to build the fastest cobalt ever just possibly the most fun cobalt to drive.
