Turn Signal Wont Turn Off when Wheel Goes Back Straight

The mechanism to turn Off the turn signal after the turn is completed and the wheel is back straight does not turn the signal off..

Does anyone know if this is an easy fix or a broken part?

Mine does this from time to time also. Its a pain in the ass but I dont knwo what to do about it yet. I was waiting for a couple more people to have the issue cause I didnt want to sound like an idiot at my dealership cause if they havent heard of something they wont fix it. They are lazy and a bunch of morons.

Checked it out with my mechanic one time and he said it's not that anything is broken, it's just that the cache has worn down so it's not neccesarily as effective. As far as I know the dealer doesn't fix it, and it can cost a good amount of money when it's probably just as easy to just switch it off yourself if it doesn't do it automatically.

Had this happen yesterday. Looked around under the plastic column cover and noticed my turn signal stick housing was a bit loose. Took a screw driver to pop the tab back into place, but its worked perfect again since being locked back in. No pics unfortnately, but if this piece is loose, that very likely the problem.
