the oil filter?
you gotta take off the body armor as I call it & it's right next to the air cleaner assmbly on the right (kinda in the center of the motor tho-If I remember correctly anyways, lol)
I'm assuming you have a 2.2L

what lobalt said, its got a black cap and if i remember right it takes an 1 1/2 inch socket to get it off

Yep, it is not a standard oil filter, it is in the block. I was at a oil change place in Newport News, VA since I was at a military school, and the guy was looking at the car for about 10 minutes trying to find the filter. I had to tell the manager the guy was lost, manager went out and showed him where it is.
