Traction Control on Base LS 2010???

Is there a traction system on the base 2010 Cobalt automatic???

This morning I was driving at work, then I decided to flood it at the green light and because it was raining outdoor my car was begin to spin and a second later the engine RPM became like stuck at low, even if I maintain it to the floor... and a few second later the RPM begin to increase normally.

Because I wanted to be sure it's not an intermittent problem I decided to floor it on the next green like and the car do the same.

So there's a traction control system on a base 2k10 LS ???

DAMMMMMMMMMMNNNNNN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

shift it into L or pull the handbrake, if the tcs light comes on and your DIC says something about traction control then you do have it. but in L the traction control is off

You can also wire a switch connected to ground the parking brake wire.
When the wire going to the parking brake switch is grounded it turns off the traction.
I did mine that way.

either pull the handbrake up one click or shift down to low, the traction control will shut off.
