Yea, the fact that the big companies dropped the ball on 2.2 ECM tuning is a big limiter, while you can do a piggyback or standalone, a module such as HPT would be a huge gain for those trying to make more power out of the 2.2.

Personally, I'm a turbo guy, probably because I know more about them than I do superchargers. But, I guess it all has to do with the application and what you are looking for out of it. I personally would say Turbo for a street application just because for daily driving it allows you to stay in vacuum when you don't want boost. That being said, the sound of blower whine is sex.

I'm curious as to why you think superchargers are so great for V8s? I mean with all that free energy being wasted on a 4 cylinder why is it any difference then on an 8 cylinder? To me if you think turbocharging is better for one then shouldn't it be better for both?

im not saying its any better, im just stating my opinion. either way a turbo will be more efficient.
