with the key set to the on position, but with the car off, push down both buttons on the dic and hold them for a few seoncds. a menu will pop up. scroll through to oil life, select it, and scroll to oil life reset. hit the button. good to go.

that's why i do it myself. no reason to pay for someone to change your oil. unless you get it for free. takes 10 minutes to do an oil change, why pay someone else for that.

Yeah, it was free for a year, just got my last freebie done. The only time I'll pay someone is if it really needs to be done asap and its cold as hell, I don't usually have access to a shop and I don't like to lay down in snow, lol.

Easiest way to reset the oil life is to turn the key to "on" (engine not running) and pump the gas pedal to the floor 3 times. I reset mine this way by accident on my 06LS when I was checking my throttle body. I haven't checked it on my 07 SSNA, but will when I change the oil next time.

Turn the ignition to RUN with the engine OFF.
Press the information (INFO) and RESET buttons on the Driver Information Center (DIC) at the same time to enter the personalization menu.
Press the INFO button to scroll through the available personalization menu modes until the DIC display shows OIL-LIFE RESET.
Press and hold the reset button until the DIC display shows ACKNOWLEDGED. This will tell you the system has been reset.
Turn the key to LOCK.

OR

Turn the ignition key to the RUN position.
Fully push and release the accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.
Start the vehicle.
The oil life will change to 100%.
