I myself think its retarded that my dash doesnt light up if i turn the lights on manually, while the key is in the on position. Theres just sometimes when i really scratch my head and think to myself "WTF was GM Thinking when they designed this?"

Setting the E brake also turns them off. Wouldn't recommend while moving though for obvious reasons lol.

With the corolla, If you have the e-brake on when you start the car, the DRL dont turn on, as soon as you dis-engage the e-brake, they turn on, and you cant turn them off. I know this becuase my fiance is driving a corolla, its a nice car, but its not really my style.

DRL's

Seems you can turn on your parking lights, this will cut off the headlamp DRLs, no dash light loss or mods. You retain the older front amber light look to the front. Just remember to turn them off when you leave your car.
