Engine Noise

Does anyone hear a noise coming from the engine when it is cold outside? It disappears when it is warm outside or when the engine is warm. Before i take it to chevy, does anybody else have this problem?

Your engine is misshaped when it is cold.....All the metal contracts and the engine parts fit tighter. I'm sure you have heard of "Normal Operating Temperature" It is the optimal temperature where the engine parts can work at their best...What you are hearing is normal. You will often hear pinging or other noises when it is cold...
