The Cobalts run hot, like most new cars, mainly for emissions purposes. Don't worry unless you're hitting above 220-something. If you're really worried or are racing then get a colder thermostat, it will open sooner to keep the motor cooler especially if you do any kind of drag racing or hot lapping at a local track.
