thats ****ed up I never ran into that situation yet with the cobalt,**** I remember my old 89 celebrity had a hole in the exhaust,it was so loud and I didn't have my license and the cop just stood there and didn't pull me over at all.Now you would think those ass holes would pull you over for a hole in a muffler or something like LED lights shining everywhere lol

umm, P1mpsy0r1c3, if you havent noticed, i am the lone gay on YC.com, and i dont appreciate the comment. same goes with the previous comment from TenYearsBeOhBe.

As for the ticket, idhc whether or not there is a quota system in the states, it is a proven fact it exists here, where i live, in Canada, so stop your bickering guys, and lets get on topic.

And, as for the car, i am using it as a trade for a nicer, more reliable ride. A 1990 Eagle Talon AWD Turbo 5 speed. Fully loaded, leather interior, pw, pm, ac, very nice little car, all things considered!

I was finished bickering I'm pretty sure, just cleaning up what he started cause I like to put the info out there.

As far as my "gay" comment, I didn't think it was offensive, I didn't know you were gay, and I'm sorry that it offended you. But future warning, I won't ever claim to be politically correct, I truly mean no offense by anything I say, but I refuse to change my diction toward the good will of anyone else but the person I love... If you don't like my comments, ignore it or get me banned. Sorry! It's nothing personal to me, and in my eyes it shouldn't be to you either...

OT: Talons can be nice but I have to ask what the "all things considered" part was about lol

uh actually I worked with one guy who was a part time cop in River Grove Illinois,I have asked him quite a bit of questions about cars,of what is legal and what is illegal, and here in Illinois having any neon light is consider illegal underneath the car since it is a distraction, also there is a quota system here in Illinois.Cops will do anything just to have more tickets, just so they won't lose their jobs. They will pull you over for the tiniest thing possible to give you a ticket,my brother almost got a ticket for having a cell phone that was all showing different colors from the antenna.Remember in America we live in a fascist country now.Talon's are decent vehicles, not on my top ten list.I knew one kid that drove one, thought he was hot shit with it having a turbo,so I gave him a challenge of my buddies old 89 supercharged mustang gt.of course the kid lost against my friend since my friend is really good at shifting and just has better vehicle in my view.

Neons are illegal pretty much everywhere for street use, because they resemble emergency lights.
