Chevrolet made a display @ the 2009 Autoshow in Paris recently and showed the Camaro obviously but also Displayed the New CRUZE that is going to replace the Cobalt... just to let you all know.. i know there was talk about it on here but I guess it is official now.

wonder if there is a coupe available, that turbo diesel has pretty good torque

i don't think there is one =( i haven't heard anything about it
and the turbo diesel is sick nasty.. usually those go in trucks

trust me, they are changing the name only because they changed the platform of the vehicle........it's not actually the same car

Car companies change the platform everytime they upgrade. The Civic, the new 3, the Jetta, etc.
GM is the only company that changes names like it does.
Cavalier, Cobalt, Cruze-its idiotic.

Chester where did you see that the Cruze was replacing the Cobalt? The last "official" GM discussion I read was that the Cruze was another model but it wasn't replacing the Cobalt.
