its one of them "welcome to the new world" things, prices on everything are going to be high. If these americans want quality you gotta pay for it or else keep your whiney broke ass in the bottom rung/econo box's like aveos/sonics, Rio's, accents and so forth(even thoughs are getting stupid in price).

I already don't like the rear seat foot situation in the ats sedan...so they should just make the couple a two seater...

That is the thing though, American cars are not all stupid priced!, Just GM for some reason, Fiestas are priced lower than Aveo's, along with Focus compared to Cruze...Then go overseas to Korea, they got the Elantra priced well below a base cruze and you get more, and same with the Forte Koup. I don't know why we as American's Accept prices. The only reason prices go up, isn't because of the dollar, it is because Americans are allowing it by willingly paying for such overpriced bullshit. Hell, the new Hyundai Equus cost less than a Mercedes E class! No one is willing to pay that much for a Hyundai or a Kia, yet both are very very well done with quality, power, and handling...

Focus compared to the Cruze? Cheaper? Ahahaha...yeah, I don't think so - they get ****ing expensive if you want the same features.

And I priced them out for my mom, similarly, so don't tell me that I'm wrong.

If you worked in the automotive industry, you might actually understand what we're trying to tell you...but it seems like you don't. Oh well, we tried.

Focus starts out at 16,640, check the sites and it looks like they have nearly the same features, you do the research... because apparently you are comparing a well equipped focus for a crappy unequipped cruze

edit
unless you are comparing a Fusion to the Cruze, then that would be closer in prices that you are mentioning
