I bought a Cobalt LS yesterday and after gunning it a couple of times the check engine light came on. I opened my manual to read about it and it says with after market additions to the engine and new tires can make the check engine light turn on. This particular cobalt has a cold air intake and racing tires and rims on it. So should I be worried and have it checked out or should I expect the check engine light to turn on?
i mean i wouldn't post my vin online, might wanna delete that, no if you take it to autozone they can tell you the code that set off the light which can help you diagnose your problem more easily, currently my balt is setting off code p0171
