ported head (yeah first post in engine mods what what???)

Check out the L61 ported head at Crateenginedepot.com. Also, anyone with experience with a port and polish or a three angle valve job? What are the gains? Tuning?

Thats the GM Sportsman level head, its a really nice piece, done by Chapman Racing IIRC. Worth the money imo. I'd rather have that than the Patriot StageI which is similar
but about $250 less expensive, if money is issue, go with the Patriot head, still good stuff.

The GM racing head is crazy expensive($2300), and requires some paperwork to get a hold of, but its THE BEST ECOTEC head you can get.

call around see if Bates or Roush or somebody will port your head for you or recommend a source other than GMRacing.
