So you think I should not do the P&P on the cylinder head and do the other mods?

i voted for the sway bars

i really wouldnt plan for FI unless you know for sure you can do it sucessfully on the 2.2L, and have a real tune, shoot...16k on a cobalt + 5+k for turbo setup and supporting monds and you almost have a SS/SC or even a TC

TC's are said to be around 25K and Idk about affording that. I plan on getting the GT tuner kit from garett and the aem unit for a tune. NJHK and I talked about the O2 clamping issue and it will work. I just wanna run low boost until I get all the parts for the internals. The GT kit only pushes 8 psi good for 198 hp and 21X lbs/tq (don't know the exact figyure) What I don't like is that it is internally wastegated. Now, SCT has stated they are definately coming out with a tune for the 2007s L61's. The AEM unit would allow me to bigger injectors and get a decent tune for fuel management. I looked at an SC today for 15K it was used but I don't wanna get a supercharged 4. I just didn't like when I drove one. It felt held back to me. they are visually very nice though.

Well I work in a machine shop where we mill huge piece of steel, aluminum, copper, etc all day...I know a thing or two about machining and what will happen in different situations. The cylinder sleeves inserted into the L61's aluminum block will be some kind of iron based steel alloy which will corrode and pit the surface. Not a good thing if you just paid big bucks to get your engine prescision machined at a professional shop.

if you are going fi, you will need to plan out first, make it the main focus.......my suggestion is to get some suspension and handling stuff first, then brakes, then go for your FI, you will be set then

nothing like going FI, and not being able to make a corner
