I know and I am ready for the problems. I don't like having to replace parts once I've installed them so I'm going to skip the "disco potato" hahaha and go for a custom kit. Call me crazy but I think the intercooler and piping will be one of the easier thing to do (I'm pretty good with stuff like that).

Gotcha well I'm being better safe than sorry. I'm getting the GT Tuner kit in the summer and purchasing the AEM unti b4 that. the kit runs low boost around 8 psi so 198hp and 217lbs/ft tq is not too shabby. A forged bottom end, turbo exaust, and a boost controller would be nice in the long run.

I haven't really heard of any one but that won't stop me. lol. When I do the turbo I'll have the bottom end professionally done by a shop near me and the head completely done by cylinder head express also a shop near me. I'm looking for a stroker kit also but haven't found anything yet.

I kicked my self in the butt for not getting a manual a while back but realized it's not worth complaining about stuff you can't change(even though you might be able to change it). Just start doing your research for the auto.

I think I'm simply going to run low boost (8 psi) for awhile until I get all my parts for my bottom end together and then install those, lower compression, swap out the turbo for something a little bigger and externally wastegated, and buy a boost controller.

since the turbo would req. a lot of custom tubing for the auto, would it be the same for the supercharger route? can you supercharge the auto 2.2s? Not a question on tuning im sure we know all the answers to that already.

Anything can be done it's just a matter of making it work. the plumbing would be interesting for the intercooler. theres a guy on ecotecforum that has a SC on a SS/SC. It can be done I would just go turbo.
