Post throttle body

I was thinking about modifying my intake so I could bolt on a bigger throttle body. Has any one done this yet? If so, did it help?

What engine do you have? 2.4 TB fits on a 2.2 but it won't work without tuning or computer know-how. I tried it on my 06 2.2 and got the dreaded "limp mode". it would idle but as soon as you gave it some gas -- no go!

I have the 2.2 engine, but I have the 2.4 intake on it. How much bigger is the 2.4 thottle body than the 2.2? Is it close to the size of the thottle body off of a 2.0 supercharger?

2.2 -- 60MM
2.4 -- 68MM
Haven't measured a 2.0 but have read it's 68MM also.

Do you know where I could find a 2.4 thottle botty? All I can find is for the 2.2 and 2.0.

Ebay is where I do most of my shopping. There is very little for the 2.4. Thanks anyway. I will keep looking. I do have one off of a 2.0.

I bought a new 2.4 TB from CED. Little over $100. Now I have a spare for my 2.4.
