Dude I had a wheel fall off and studs break on two other wheels it sucked.

had one of my aftermarket wheels fall off, and rolled over a jack when it happened..............i hear ya on it

worst part was the numbskull who ordered it, got me the wrong size lug nuts

If you're just getting into the Cobalt make sure you realize that even with bolt-ons, they're still pretty slow cars with the exception of a heavily modified SS/SC.

If I knew more about actual performance cars before I started modding I wouldn't have spent a dime on this thing. After driving my fiancees GTO around quite a bit, my Cobalt feels even worse in any contest of speed even though she only spent a few thousand more for a used one than what my Balt cost new.

wait I drive a LT so that means I can't get the 2.4 intake swap?

Yes you can, the model the 2.2 is bolted into makes less difference than the year. If you have a Cobalt equipped with the SAI you might not be able to use the intake/manifold combo that is pretty common among LS/LT owners.

how can I tell if it is SAI though?

what website/place sells the engine and transmission mounts for a 2.2L Auto? on newedge performance they only have it for the manual tranny.. thanks
