The exit on a 2.2 exhaust manifold is "D" shaped -- widest is 1 15/16"(5CM?) X 1 9/16" (4.1CM?).
SS/LSJ/LE5 exhaust manifold exit is round and is 2 1/4" in diameter (5.7CM?) This picture shows the difference: http://www.yourcobalt.com/photoplog/index.php?n=223

Well then it will flow better than a stock cast iron L61 manifold. 2 inches round is better then 2x1 9/16th's" any day. Granted it wont flow like an extrude hone LSJ manifold but look at the cost difference between them. I'd put it on my car, no question. Then again I personally am just looking to drop back pressure, I'm not planning on any boost.
