Search Hahn Racecraft on google. They have a killer turbo kit for the 2.4 and the 2.2. But like you said, expensive. So start saving lol.

The one i looked at they had for A/T and M/T. Are you sure you looked at the Cobalt 2.2/2.4 Stage 2 turbo kit on their website?

If you are going to go through all the trouble to swap the LSJ or LNF and ecu then why not just get megasquirt, learn it, and turbo your 2.2? Honestly it'd probably be less effort and get you better results. Stage 2 is not that fast really, and stage 3 basically makes your AC useless. I just can't see the justification of an LSJ or LNF swap. The LNF is basically maxed out where it is. That's not entirely true but for practical purposes good luck. The direct injection makes it a pain to tune and GM says the tranny isn't good for much more power, hence no stage kits from GM. Your only good options for more hp from the LNF are intercooler upgrades which you don't have to tune for like everything else.

Hahn Racecraft had a good amount of success with their LNF based Solstice. But they did sink alot of money into it. I dont know how well it will tune, i dont own one and i think we should hold judgement until we get some accurate reviews off of the SS/TC.

Well not just that but you can only squeeze so much boost into a 2 liter engine and get it to run on 91 octane gas. IE: 350Z's and EVO's with full exhaust systems that are bench tested to flow better than stock make no extra power to the wheels. The engine is already operating at peak efficiency on the detonation threshold with 91 octane gas and doing anything else to improve airflow isn't going to make power.
