Exhaust

has anyone put an exhaust system on an automatic LS and it sounded good? I know it kind of sounds like an oxymoron but I don't want to waste money on an exhaust and then sound like my weed wacker that I trim around the hedges with. If anyone could shed some light on this situation, that'd be great! Thanks

I have the GMPP touring exhuast on my LS. It has a nice deep tone and it's not overkill. I love the way it sounds. Not weedwackerey at all. LOL. :D

Mine is an automatic. I bought mine from another member on the forum. But Crateenginedepot.com has them for 439.95 right now. They also have the GMPP performance exhaust system which sounds really good too but it's a little louder then the touring system. They have sound clips of the exhaust systems on the site to just click on the Gmpp exhust systems an scroll down and click where it says "click here to here the GMPP cobalt exhaust sysyems"...

exhaust question

does anybody else have an opinion on which exhaust sounds better and less like a weed eater?

Cobalt / G5 Cat-Back Exhaust System Performance 17802111 - Crate Engine Depot

Cobalt / G5 Cat-Back Exhaust System Touring 17802110 - Crate Engine Depot

i got a 17802111 Cobalt / G5 Cat-Back Exhaust System-Performance exhaust system earlier today on ebay. Used for $325 shipped! I can't wait to get it and put it on! Did you guys install your systems yourselves? If so, how much of a pain in the neck was it to take off the old system?
