ok i got it its a MAF adapter sold by spectre performance.... the part# 9405... it can be used with spectre modules or any other pipes. Its perfect if you are planning to make your own intake. Auto Zone has it a buck cheaper than PepeBoys lol

To tell the truth guys i was lil iffy about this intake at the beggining but now i don't regret it. it has a nice deep sound and i can tell the dirrerence on the driving. Besides it allows me to add more modules to become a cold air or a two fliter air intake. wich is pretty cool and the modules and filter aren't really that expensive.... I mman thats just my opinion

anyways What You Opinion??

yeah i know wat you mean im plannin on orderin that part next part i knew about it for awhile but my mod worked just fine lol. the thing about the spectre filters, is that they dont flow as good. sure they flow better then the stock filters. but i would suggest gettin a K and N it works just as good and brings in more air then the spectre filters. anyone else's opinion?

Yea when you pick up a spectre it just seems naturally clogged. The fibers are insanely thick and packed in, seems like it filters well, but I don't see how it flows well.

yeah i felt the same way. once you install it the first time it seems to flow good. but after a couple of days it would take awhile for the motor to kick in.

that little filter is cool lol and that would make the process of making this intake a lot easier if i didn't have to worry about that tube. Do you have to change that little thing a lot?

yeah that little filter is cool. it does get dirty at time. but dont really do much. its just a breather filter. just be sure when you do your oil changes. not to over filll your motor. otherwise it will come out through that breahter filter.

HEY NANESNJ, go with the K and N filter you'll feel a lot better of a throttle responce. my friend already knew wat filter to get. it seems pretty big when i got it. but it works fine. it will fit well right over the spectre piping. i can give you the number if you need it. if not you can order one. i want to try there Xtreme filters.
