To correct you.....when you go to the track....what RPM range are you at most of the time at WOT? certainly not at the 1-2k range...right?

Actually its just going to make you slower at the track as far as times go from moving the power band higher without a tune...you'll finish with a higher mph but slower time than you would before. A bunch of track times have already been recorded before and after the manifold swap/other mods to prove this.
If you really want to be faster at the track...get the $275 tune from Trifecta after those mods are done, that'll do more for you than the swap would alone. Link for tune:https://www.trifectaperformance.com/...r/default.aspx |

But the launch is everything, and you certainly dont start at 6,000.

I'm sure you older members are tired of me going on about this so I'm not going to say much here. However, my argument is that if you are going to be driving your car daily most of the time this mod is next to useless and if you want more power there are other places I'd look way before this. However if you plan to track your car alot and plan to compliment the manifold with several other mods to better your air flow in and out of the engine (including cams) then I can see doing this. However the money is hard to justify consider the loss of torque under the curve early in the RPM band and the shift of the RPM horse power band out of the stock tunes range.
If you guys had HPT available then you could much easierly (is that a word?) take car of that problem, but you don't. IMO the money is better spent elsewhere.

We do not have HPT but like stated above Trifecta just came out with a tuning system for us that takes into consideration all of the mods you have. IMO I don't plan on getting this or the tune until i get a new exhaust manifold, dp, and catback. Then the 2.4 manifold and a tune. From what i hear from one of the beta testers the tune makes the world of difference with the tune installed.
