Ok guys sorry if this was already on here but im just curious, i wanna build up my motor but i dont know where to start. is there any links to some stores where i can find some things. Just so you guys know, when i say build up my motor, i mean i wana port polish the head, new intake manifold, new internals, turbo, the works. btw i prob shoulda mentioned this, i have the 2.4l engine. Thanks

PS if anyone has any tips or has done any of this please feel free to put in your two cents

Google it, youll find far more info than this site can provide. Just search for parts, theres a big site list on here.

From my opinion though, start easy. Intake, exhaust, tune. That other stuff is gonna have your car laid up for awhile, normally you do that stuff on a project car, so i hope the balt isnt your daily driver.

when you do the intake,exhaust,downpipe,header for basics.Also get a different mass air high flow sensor.

i plan on purchasing and installing GMPP exhaust, CAI, and exhaust manifold. I seen you mention a new MAF should be installed?

honestly bro you wont find any info like that here..try ecotecforums.com or even cobaltss.net...however you might get flamed on .net since there is like 50,000,000,000 threads of people who say they want to "build" but never do

ok thanks guys, and no this isnt my daily driver. I got a pos tempo that i can beat around until these things are done haha.
