You've awakened a 2 month old thread. LOL. Anyway, yeah, got mine a few months back. Not super impressed. I've tried it with my GMPP Intake and with the stock intake. Honestly, I really haven't noticed much difference. The ONLY way this chip will show me that it IS actually throwing HP to the wheels is on a DYNO. Unfortunately I don't have one around or can afford to pay someone to test it.

I hope I don't have to eat these words, but, since I already have most of the bolt-on upgrades available for the engine I expect to see noticable gains.

I'll post here with results. But I'm not ready to install it just yet.

I'm not driving the car right now (summer = motorcycle), and I'm planning a few small projects. One task is a tune-up, so I'll install the chip after.

I did a quick search and found a local shop that has open dyno runs on Saturdays. I'll go up there pretty soon and get a baseline run on it before the install too.

Yes, I'll take it back to the track for a few runs after the install and post some videos.

Sounds good TL... I'm not sure if I just expected more or what the deal is. There is a few noticeable differences with the chip. I can accelerate quicker and I can spin the tires from a dead stop on most surfaces. Before as anyone knows the AUTO's lagged from a dead stop, now it at least gets off it's ass and goes. Nothing extraordinary like smoking the tires etc but it does have a bit quicker acceleration. I've gone back to the stock intake to help save gas. I still have my GMPP intake, not sure if I am going to sell it or keep it around. Everything else is stock as well except the air box mod which I'm going to put back on soon. I guess to each his own on the chip.

Maybe it's just me. My girlfriend drove it today while I drove her 2008 Cobalt LS. Now yes mine is a 2.4L but she has driven it before and hers is a 2.2L. BUT, she came home and I asked her which she liked better and she asked me if I still had (she didn't know the part name or anything) "computer thingy installed" and I said yes, and she replied "YOUR'S BECAUSE IT MUCH FASTER ACCELERATING THAN MINE." She then grinned and I asked her what the grin was about and she said "OH NOTHING, JUST ALOT FASTER FROM STOP LIGHTS." .... lol. I'm assuming she spun the tires a few times here and there. She likes her 4 door for the kids but loved mine for the quickness. She talked about getting one of those "COMPUTER THINGY'S" for hers. So maybe I just expected alot more being such a gear head and being used to V8's rather than front wheel drive auto's.

Funny thing about the module is that once you get used to it you don't think about it. But try taking it out and then driving the car -- you'll think something is wrong with your engine...LOL!

The performance difference is more noticeable after you've been driving with it and then take it out -- it reminds you real quick why you bought it in the first place!
