i think 110 whp is a little low for an estimate. at 145/150 crank from the factory, your probably looking at 120/125 at the wheels.

you could hit 200whp in a non f/i engine in a cobalt but it will need alot of internal work and porting

but as far as this tune, ive read up on it on ss.net and everyone is very please. its a custom tune specifically to the mods you have and as you add more mods you can get it updated for a cheaper cost. most people over there (someone even had a dyno sheet i believe) were looking at 20hp/20tq with this tune. last i heard he was still working on the transmission part of it for the autos though. it may be done by now. and i think its around $275

i will be doing it sometime in the near future.

internal work doesnt give gains like most people think. you can rebiuld an entire motor with better parts and get the same HP as you can by adding a turbo on stock internals. to me it makes no sense to do internal work on a 2.2.

internal work is to hold more b00st. He has no such type of FI so it really makes no sense

well it would be safer anyways to do some internal work if you're going nitrous, turbo,or a supercharger. Some idiots destroy their pistons from a turbo, but I guess that can be caused by not tuned properly or just being stupid.

i know its retarded. you cant put any type of FI on a motor that isnt designed for FI without expecting something to break. Thats why i personally find it straight stupid for someone to build their own turbo kit on a 2.2. The plus side of building your own would be get the best turbo and the best parts and have it set up the exact way you want. but whats the point if you cant pull more than what? 8 psi on the stock internals? sounds ridiculous to me.

if someone is trying to make their 2.2. or 2.4 for that matter into a high hp machine or a prokect car, get a new one as im sure you guys already know, the cobalt isnt very modder friendly =(

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. I honestly think it's because you guys really aren't trying hard enough and I don't mean that to be a jerk. There's plenty of potential in both the 2.2 and 2.4 you guys just aren't unlocking it.
