i did something similar...

first time around

as it is now.

i didn't go with a cone filter cause i didn't want to mess with the maf, i did however get ride of the silencer behind the headlight... i'll be getting a fujita or injen before to long just had to get rid of the tumors before and after the maf was killing me. and no no cels have been thrown.

also shanksbaby be careful with that flexpipe stuff it'll collapse sooner or later and cause you problems... known a few people that have used that stuff.

Okay, I noticed a difference in the CAIs.
Shank has the hose (yellow) hooked up for the breather on the head.
Knox has a little filter.
Where do you get the filter?
I like that better than the hose.

it a crank case vent filter can be bought at advanced autozone pep boys etc.
it makes more since to do what i did with the crank case because the crank case not only shoots HOT air back into the intake but also shoots oil from time to time, and oil going into the throttle body just doesn't sound good to me so on every car i get i always do this.

I will check that out.
I like the look.
I'm guessing it is washable/reusable.

ya the crank case filter you just run water over it and blow it out with a air hose... just like you would do on an air filter.
