Yeah. I'm not sure how it works though. I was talking through it and it sounded like it amplified my voice, haha.

-starts talking like darth vader into the silencer, man if this was smaller would work great for a kits vader costum haha.

I took mine out before i got any intake at all. I didn't really notice a differance in performance, but i dd notice a sound increse. But really think about it, anything "extra" before the filter is going to ba a restriction.

well, the air is no longer swirling around in the two tumors before the filter, before going into the intake, after the maf it swirls arond in yet another tumor before getting sucked into the throttle body, now its straight from the air through the filter into the throttle body, has to be improved airflow hence increase in performance and sound, i didn't notice a difference the first day, but a day or two later when the ecu finally caught up to the new changes i felt it.
