yeah so thats a plus i thought about tradin my my LT for a SS but i already dumped money in the engine and everything so ima stick wit it not much of a big deal i can still come off the line quick and burn out in low gear

Your car has a gov to prevent morons who drive at excessive speeds on public roads from killing innocent people.

Since you like numbering systems I'll do mine.

1) you don't own a race car
2) you bought the base model, no offense to base model owners you guys know I love you, but it's not build for performance
2a) because it's the base model your suspension, tires, and brakes are not made for those speeds and that's why it's governed.
3) because the statement "you can't smoke a V6 on the highway" shows you can't handle the higher speed any way because of your maturity level.

I'm not trying to be a bad guy here but I'm laying it out straight for you. It's people like you who drive at those stupid speeds on public roads and race everything you can that give the rest of us respectable cobalt owners a bad rep.

ppl like you hmmmm layin it straight huh respectable owners how bout you youtube cobalts and see how many respectable cobalt owners do crazy stuff on there. any car can be upgraded to do anything if u have the right mods and you kno what your doin and if your refering to me i never said anything bout racin on street roads against anything i know i could have a chance against everyone that has a car has pushed it to the limits at one point in time at least once its all about specs and mods tuning and knowin where to do it without harming yourself and anyone else that just my opinion now u can take it how u wnt it but im not tryna be a bad guy just layin it out straight

well you talked about racing V6s that pass you at 120. You are pulling 120 traps at the track? Well if you are you need to share your secret because you'd be the first to do it. So where are you reaching these speeds? Public roads.

Justifying bad behavior by pointing to other bad behavior on youtube is also an unacceptable answer.

You can ask around here, well the people who are still here from a long time ago, if you want help making your car faster for legit racing I'll be the first to help and I've gladly taken many other Cobalt owners under my wing to teach people how to mod safely and correctly. However asking the question about the gov shows a lack of maturity and respect for your fellow drivers. Giving me the bullshit about you not racing on the streets is quite frankly insulting.

I've been there, it's not worth it. No one wins at those speeds on public roads. Do it right, keep it on the track and when you start trapping speeds that warrant you taking the gov off at the track ask this question and I'll help you with it.

theres nothin insulting about what i said and as far as me and comparing me to others thats some bull all in itself cuz i do me everyone has there choice of doin and makin there choices for there own so theres no need to go into all that we and all stuff when i spoke about what i did it was individual my myself and i and yes i have raced on street roads and ive seen the worst outcome which is the reason i started taking it to the tracks only to race. i have seen some 4 cylinders smoke other v6's thy had the money time and mods to do it and i was refering to the circle track not a drag strip.
and you insult me what that crap speakin of maturity like i dont know right from wrong and everything that i speak of is bullshit if i do somethin i make sure its in a safe environment and for the safety of myself and others i always recheck what i do i did mines in the past but who hasnt made there mistakes it only take 1 time for people to realize when something not worth the trouble when its racing time its the track when im home its normal driving so please dont critisize me u would feel upset yaself if someone was tryna insult your intelligence and you knew what you where doin this is just a general discussion and your right its not worth doin anything stupid outside the track i realized this when my bestfriends car flipped 7 times tryna race a mustang in his 300gt comin around a corner he survived but thats an a big eye opener there
