Better than that, the K+N intake tubes come in different colors. Check their website.

i didnt know the aem worked with the SAI. must be a new intake design beause they didnt at first. but anyway trust me, the k&n is probably just the better and safer way to go with the SAI.
and as far as colored intakes go, unfortunately k&n and their distributors websites are wrong. they dont carry colored intakes anymore. just silver. i found this out when i tried to get a blue one for my car and when i tried to get a blue one for my girlfriends cavalier it will look exactly like the one in that picture. you could always have it painted or powdercoated down the road if you really wanted it blue -----Added 17 Nov 2008 at 05:02:38----- here cobalt08ls, i found a site that lowered there starting price for the k&n without discount codes. its from turbo tech racing and it use to be the same price as the other site but its now alot cheaper. they are a really good company as well. i order stuff from there all the time K&N Typhoon Cold Air Intake Chevy Cobalt 2.2 2005-09 - Air Management - Turbo Tech Racing, LLC

The purpose for the SAI tube to run to the air filter box is so that it gets clean/filtered air. If you put a small filter on the end of the tube it will keep it functioning properly.

so would it be more beneficial to get a short ram intake and plug both the sai and the maf sensor in or should i just get a cold air and hook it up normal and just put a breather filter on the end of the sai?
i heard with a short ram you get less power but you get same effects out of both also for a cold air do you have to take the front bumper off? or can u install it with it on
