I'm thinking about Nite Shading my tails. Nothing crazy, just a couple of light coats to add a little smoke. For those who have done it, is it something that you later regretted or one of those mods that stuck? I think it'd look slick with silver.

I was thinking about picking up some tails from the scrap yard and doing those instead of my stock ones. I'm not sure if the cops here will care or not, so it would be nice to have my originals intact if I need to throw them back in.

Also, after putting clear on them do they require any maintenance or is it a once and done kind of thing?

I have a base model cobalt with 17's, eibach sportlines, steering rack spacers and a camber kit.

When I got them done it shaked a slight bit.

I live in a new area with a good amount of bad roads and pot holes.

A month later

When I was driving back home I noticed my gas and brake pedal was vibrating a good amount at idle or when I was accelerating. My steering wheel is also shaking too, more than it used too.

I cant tell if my rim is bent or what, I dont have the resources to check at home.

When braking I cant really tell a difference.

I have around 48,000 miles on it.

Engine sound, I cant remmeber what it sounds like but now its a loud ticking sound.

I saw a video of a bright guy who modified his civic hatchback 1998. He's proud because he beats a "400 whp" supra. I call it stock NA supra. and the guy is talk sh*tting in the comments. I said Civics are not that great and he pissed off. Here what he said about cobalts. I loled at this OMG.

"I have never seen any better than a mid to high 14 with the cobalt SS/SC. I know people with them, and our track was a low elevation also. And then th turbo one being low 14's, almost 14 flat. But anyways, the SS/SC was under rated. They said 205 crank hp, but it actually dynos about 200 to the motor. But even a stock SS/TC can't beat my k20 swap......"
