Yea I know, I have ruined many board's back when i was starting with my first soldering iron, however, i have practically mastered soldering, I do have a solder sucker, although i need a new soldering iron. Im still tryin to decide on a color though. Im leaning towards blue, but not certain, oh when i do it, if the DIY that was here is no longer here, ill do a DIY, that is of course if anyone wants one. I was thinking about doing a DIY for another project i got in the works, but that kinda bombed out on me, lack of funds for it. Who did the original DIY anyway?

hmmm, I'm not sure. Anything transparent and colored would work I suppose.

And just by the way, the 07 cobalt Lt stereo is uber different from the rest, i guess because its an LT, but still, i almost crapped myself when i figured out that the volume nob has to pop out with the radio board, and i was scared that i was going to snap my radio board. so you cant color the power nob.
not only that but there is no nice SQUARE glass pane to pop out either, there is a massive sleek pane that is glued to the whole plate, so i had to take it off, sand it, paint it black, and i still have to put gloss on it so it doesnt look stupid..

this isnt mine but it will show you what im talking about

and scroll down and look at the glass you have to take off

it was worth it but just a heads up if anybody else has an LT
