Reapolstering the rear deck

What you'll need:
- material of choice (I used orange vinyl)
- Adhesive of choice, I suggest aresol can spray (Duro all-purpose)
-Rear deck cover
-Padding, very good idea but not required

removing the rear deck for coupes

1. Remove old cloth from board. Don't worry about the padding behind it. That's not salvagable.

I got rid of my headrests so I fiberglassed and then bondo'd the holes up.

2.Cut the padding and the material at least 2 inches bigger then the board all around.

3. Spray adhesive to rear deck and padding wait a 2-3 minutes then spray again let the two sit for 1-2 minutes then put the two together and trim access padding including all holes.

4. Spray adhesive to padding (that's on the rear deck) and the material that you'll be using let sit for a 2-3 minutes then spray again let sit for 1-2 minutes. Set the board on the material.

5. Spray both the back side of the board and the back side of the material on the part that bends down (see pic for reference). Fold material over lip of board

6. Cut material around corners for easy fitment. Rule of thumb is this... when going around a corner or edge cut triangles when going in and cut slits when going out (see pictures for reference)

7. Spray adhesive on both the back of the board and back of the material. Fold material over and firmly press in place.

8. Cut out all the holes for the seat belts, child seat hook covers, Head rests, plastic rivets and plastic pillar cover tabs.

9. Insert child seat hook covers.
