How to Debadge

Cool, I'll have to try do this in the summer or late spring. I want to take out that annoying car dealership thing that they stuck on the trunk....:/

Just one thing though, will the paint under the emblems and stuff be discolored?

not at all if you use the fishing line and bug/tar remover...its just double sided tape

Comes out very nice!! The only way you would have discoloration is if you waited and your piant was faded. The sooner you do it the better!!

hmm...well, I got my car in December 07, it's an 05 in yellow...if I wait till the summer, do you think that will be too late??

? When you take off the big Chevy Emblem in the Center of the trunk...will it have holes? Or....is it just double-sided tape like the rest of it letters?

double sided tape....and i debadged my 02 Ram in 06 and it had a shadow where it said ram 1500 on the doors...a good clay bar and wax and a few car washes and it blended fine.....do it man...looks cleaner

and this is really random but thats how you take the "cobalt" lettering off of the back too?

same way, if you are careful enough, you could reuse the lettering somewhere else, i have seen it placed in other spots too

I'm thinkin bout reusing my lettering on my engine plastics...
