Removing The Seatbelt Holder/Headrest
Ok, First and foremost, Do this at your own risk, I am merely posting this for information purposes.
(sorry for the bad pics, im gonna get some new ones soon.) Now that the junk is outta the way, lets get started. First and foremost, Here is what you need: ![]() You will need: a precision flat head screwdriver a regular flathead screwdriver or a pair of cutters ok now the steps: 1. Pull the headrest all the way up, then there is a button on one side, push that and you can pull the headrest up about a quarter inch more. Then on the other side, there is a tiny hole (refer to pic) ![]() Insert the precision screwdriver into the hole, and push on the screwdriver, and pull up on the headrest at the same time (refer to pic again) ![]() once the headrest comes out, this is when you have to decide what you are going to do. If you are just removing the headrest to install a seat cover or something like that, just reinsert, when done. If you plan on taking the seat belt holders off, and possibly putting these back after, use the regular flathead to lift the clip off. If you plan on keeping it off, just go to town with the cutters. Either way you want to remove the clip.(refer to pic) ![]() this is the clip itself. ![]() this pic is after i worked it most of the way off. After you are done, you can either put the belt holder back on and put the whole thing back in the holes, or you can just put the headrest back in the holes. Here are the before and afters to compare. ![]() Before ![]() After
