How to Take Out Back Seat?

I want to put a sub box in my 2008 chevy cobalt coupe's trunk, but chevy really screwed up by making the trunk opening so small so i think i can fit it into the trunk through the back seat, but i only need a few inches of extra room because it wont go in even with the seat folded down. Does anybody know how to take out the back seat (the part that folds down)? Thanks

OK, fold the seats down.

look towards the sides of the seats where they meet the bottom.

there are clips that you will have to press to release them with a flathead screwdriver. (you will have to look for them..but they are there)
Repeat for the other side.

Now the bottom. It's kinda hard to explain...but basically kneel infront of the bottom cushion (with your knees pressing on the cushion) and apply pressure and at the same time with your hands and push the cushion backwards towards the trunk area. It may take you a few times to figure it out...but it will pop out.

Hope that helps.
