They are cut with a vinyl cutter. 90% of these places use Flexi Sign Pro to design them and then basically it's a fancy hobby knife in a large plotter that cuts them. Then the letters are pulled out to expose the design. It's not rocket science and if one doesn't fit it's because of poor measurement by the designer.

I have seen several 3rd brake light mods, but never a clear light. Is there one yet?

I havent seen one of those yet, I am looking for a stencil right now to do my own lettering and paint the rest of the light black.

I want to convert mine into the backup light, and change the back up lights into running lights.
